Here's my new track car - a JDM VTEC (is that an Si?). This forum looks like the place to be to help me keep it running

I picked this up late last year after I sold my 944 turbo, which was a road / track car. This one's very definitely a track car, but it is road legal as it raced in the lma road saloons championship. The car has some interesting history - it won the road saloons in '95 and '02, and was originally imported from Japan by Honda to run in the Willhire 24hrs. It was subsequently sold to a senior Honda UK man who raced it for 5 years & then sold to the previous owner.
it's running a stroked 1.6 b16 - making it a 1.8. Engine built by Mardi Gras. I'm told it produces 175 bhp @ 7500 rpm. The previous owner ran it at a conservative redline in the interests of longevity. I might run it a bit higher

It still has a full interior and all glass, so there is some potential for weight reduction. I plan to take it to the 'ring later in the year so it still needs to be reasonably comfortable. On first impressions it doesn't seem any worse than a DC2 I had for a while so should be fine for a long trip.
Suspension is Leda, the cage is bolt in but also bolts to the A&B pillars & roof rails. The car came with 6 sets of wheels - the sparco 15's in the pic, 2 x 14" compomotives with wets & slicks, 2 x honda 14" alloys with Yoko 539's and 1 x steels with 539's. I also got a load of Honda spares & Mintex pads, - not really sorted through them all yet
You can see it has plenty of battle scars - I might be after some cheap s/h wings and doors if I decide to tidy her up. I can see that most panels are quite cheap. The exhaust obviously isn't standard - I wonder if they just left off the back box?
There seem to be a few differences between JDM and UK cars - one of the headlights is UK, the other JDM. You can see that one sits much further back. Apparently the wheel bearings are different as well.
There's also a missing vac line on the intake - any clues where this should connect to?
First outing (after a cambelt change next week) should be at Cadwell on the 23rd Jan.
