Had to get it Marc
Thanks. It never did have one anyway from when Kev had it and I prefer the smooth front end. Plus it makes it easier to polish

You can certainly feel them inside the cabin and through the chassis but they are much better than I expected to be honest.Marc_EE9 wrote:What are the 60A engine mounts like Ben?

Re: Gunmetal Grey i-vt (MR G)
So my heater hasn't ever worked since I owned the car. I took the heater resistor out yesterday and found this:
Luckily I had already bought a new resistor kit and soldered it on today.
Hopefully it will now work!

Off eBay mate, only £6 however my heater is still not working I have checked the fuse which is fine, I fear it may be the motor itself although I'd like to try another resistor first.dazec8 wrote:where did u get the heater repair kit from mate

I have driven the car quite a bit over the last few weekends. Had some great B road blasts . I was off work on Friday so gave the car a thorough clean. Wash and wax on the outside, treated all the bumpstrips, window rubbers, mudflaps and sill covers with autoglym rubber and vinyl care, polished all the windows inside and out, removed the Sparco's and cleaned them inside and out, tyre shined the tyres and hoovered the inside and treated the dash etc with armour all. Looked awesome when I was finised. No pics unfortunately as my iPhone camera has died.
I also put extra air in the tyres, popped a new air freshner inside to stop it smelling damp over the winter, put it in the garage, disconnected the battery and put it under a waterproof car cover. So that's it for this year, it's now off the road until after the winter. I will start it up at least every 2 weeks and move it in and out of the garage to stop the brakes seizing up etc. I have a few things planned for it for next year. Just need to get the dreaded winter out of the way and I can get cracking.

Haven't driven it mate. It's now off the road for the winter so literally fitted it and put the car back under the cover.sixteen16 wrote:Looks really nice Ben. Any noted difference in the handling?
