Re: Was "MR G" but not anymore
Had an absolute bitch of a day today with the civic. Started at 8am and finished at 6pm with pretty much steady rain all day
Fitted the spoon calipers on the offside along with new discs and pads. They just fowled on the sparcos but 5mm spacers sorted that out. On to the near side and disaster. The caliper had been helicoiled where it bolts to the hub an the helicoil was damaged. Bummer. Not much I could do really at short notice so I put the standard brakes back on. The spoons will have to wait for another day. They looked awesome behind the wheel though!
I then refitted my side skirts, removed the rear coilovers and raised them up around and inch and a half as the rear sat way lower than the front. It now sits level and looks better IMO. I popped on the front mud flaps and then fitted the Sparcos.
I was filthy, wet and tired at this point so I called it a day. Still got loads to do tomorrow.

I got more done today. Have it a clean inside and out as it was covered in bodyshop dust. Fitted tailgate and door decals, put new red pinstripe on, fitted new brighter headlight bulbs, painted brake calipers, fitted rear mudflaps and new rear lip. I'm really pleased with how it's looks
Exhaust fitting tomorrow and a service. After that its basically ready for JAE

Re: Was "MR G" but not anymore
Thanks guys. Got my exhaust rear section changed today at EMP Performance. It now exits the correct side and I had the rest of the system adjusted as it was fowling on the chassis and felt horrible. All sorted now though.
I got the tailpipe slightly angled. Pretty happy with it. I then changed my oil and a new filter and threw in some new NGK plugs. I adjusted the rear coilovers up again another half inch as they had settled and the tyre wa just touching the nearside rear arch. All good now though. Gave it a quick detail and put him in the garage ready for JAE tomorrow
