I've just bolted some box section to the bottom, then welded the rail to that. The rail closest the outside of the car is the bitch, the other one just bolts straight to the bottom of the seat.

But now the box section is wedged against the floor so it won't really move.

Need to set a bit of time aside to do them, was a bit of a rushed jib.

Ah cool man good price, and get some pics up of how you got the to fit and add to the How to section. Then ill know how to do mine with just 4g rails

New brakes !

I bought these from Ed a while ago just didnt get around to uploading pics

262mm grooved discs need a good clean up but nothing a wire drill bit wont fix



Goodridge brake lines



Vt calipers





Should help out abit on track, not that i had to use the brakes much

Also i ordered some new silicone hose yesterday for the bike carbs as the original ones had perished, bit boring going for plain black hose but coloured stuff just ends up changing colour and looking rubbish.







Also did some work the Z6

Took the waterpumpofff to check it absolutely fine no rust on it so that went back on. Sign of well looked after engine





Then wire drill bit to get muck off and paint as i hate mucky engines





laquared the solenoid just tp try it out



Rocker cover off very clean







Thermostat looksto be ingood nick



Fitted everything back onto the block and cleaned



New cambelt



rocker cover painted and laquared



D15 nearly ready to come out



driveshafts out wiring all disconnected basically just have to pul it out tomorrow

yeah engine looks to be in great nick, it was going to have been though came out of Daz's Ek Has 174,000 miles on it aswell

Im going to fit the one from the D15 L3 box, but might not get it fitted for a while as i want to get an uprated clutch ideally but there expensive and the clutch in it has only 100miles at the very most probably more like 60. but its only designed for 90 bhp so not sure how long it would last in the z6
