Good spec list almost the same as mine

Get the D15 cam in and get yourself an adjustable cam gear an ebay 5 bolt one should do, it wont take long.

Should have a fair bit of power over the standard, have you been on the rollers?

Haha well i must be doing something right then lol

I was going to fit the whole engine as the local garage near me will let me use there equipment, and show how to do it. But where would i be able to get a cam fitted i asked the garage about that and they said just fit the whole engine as you should leave internals alone when there bedded in, and that cams are a pain in the a$$ to setup.
But what would you suggest??
no i havent been on a RR i want to though would be good to see what power its making.

Cams are easy to swap over. But you'd get more power if you swap the whole engine over i guess.

Glad to see the D15B and Longlife exhaust went to a good home :)

Quite a few of us have put the D15 cam in, when i put in my cam i fitted the complete rocker assembly as well which is the same as the D14, quite an easy job.

However

If you know of the engines 'history' i would put that in, put the D14 carbs on instead of the ones on the D15 as they have an auto choke.

I cant remember exactly but the D15 has around 105/6 bhp so with the exhaust, 4-2-1 k & n and carb mods you should be getting a decent ammount of power.

Keep us posted

and im glad i got them and for such a good price :)

Is it easy to swap the carbs over i mean can i just un bolt the D15b ones and bolt on the D14 ones, and if i do that what do i do with the metal vac line tubes as there is more on the d15 so do i change those for the d14 ones aswell?? and sorry im not so good with the technical terms haha.
Also if i change the carbs over should i use the D14 wiring loom??

D15b Carbs - Rubbish.

D14a1 carbs are good.

BUT! Dont be fooled by the D15b Needles as a Power mod...as it wont give you more power.

D15b Needles are richer needles.

Ive done alot of reading into these

I am dam sure!

Go read my thread where i measured 3 sets of Needles.

D15b Needles have a more agressive Taper, Which runs richer.

I ran a Flat 12.0 AFR's with D15b Needles.

There is no way i could get to 13.8 AFR's with any OEM needle combination!

Someone at Mimms (Duno who? Some Random...) Said that CBR600 Main jets fit perfectly.

But im not going to bother. B16 PGMFI FTW
