Day 156

Sprayed all four wheels today. I did want to use Peugeot Graphite grey, which is the same colour I used on my 205 GTi wheels on my 306 to make them look Goodwood style, but they only had one can at Halfords, so I got Rover Gunmetal, which is an ace colour! :D

I managed to do them with x2 300ml cans of colour, one can of 400ml lacquer, and one can of 400ml primer, which all cost around £25.

They look slightly dark in the photo as its in the garage and starting to get dark now.

No I just need to get some centre caps!

Nice to see my old wheels being used.

They are made by a company called Flare, and they came into the country on a 1.5x Crx.

BTW, the 'worst' one had already been partially paint stripped, that's why it looked so bad

They looked cool on my last white Crx, like mini ITR wheels. Look better painted gunmetal though, very good.

Re: centre caps - look for some from Honda steel wheels, although I'm sure Daz had the centre caps, or 3 of them at least.

Whay tyres are you going to go for?

ahhh, yes Daz said they were flare alloys, but I thought he ment the style or something

Re re: centre caps - do you mean the chromey type caps? i think CRV or HRV ones will fit, the whole is around 63mm.

Tyres.... not sure, definately a winter tyre as thats when it will be used.
not sure on size either, might go 185/65
