Hi people
My civic ed7 1.6i-16 does quiet good mpg, i do a lot of miles in it and with 1 full tank i managed to do 320 miles, it returns in regular basis 300 miles to a tank which is about 34-35 pounds. I think for 1.6 engine that is very economical.
My journeys are mostly motorway runs (65-80 mph) with about 30 % around town, and sometime a bit of thrashing
What do u guys get from your civics?
What sort of fuel economy 1.4 have? ANd vtecs

I aim for 300+ from the vtec. Sometimes I have managed only 220, mostly though its high 200's. I find the air-con reduces milage to about 250 a tank.

I have had over 400 in my old vtec, though that was running for 50 miles after the fuel light came on
But the worst I have had is 185 in my first 16v crx

I've only ever filled the tank once and it was over 330miles but that was mainly motorway.
When i had my 16.16 i got 43 mpg out of it, but again mainly motorway.
THe VT does 40mpg at it's best.
