Started on my new bootbuild today nothing complex tbh

anyway made a base for the sub box

Image

slot on the right is to run power leads and airlines through from underneath

then started on the false wall

Image

this is where it all went to S*!t
i cut the centre hole for the sub and started drilling so i could screw the sub to the box sandwitching the wall in place and i leant too hard snapping it in half

so i need another bit of chipboard now....

damn it i was hoping to use up what was left from the kitchen :D hahaha

Haha i wouldnt get upset if someone did have air on theirs man

id go airlift i think
ill find out soon if the bags ive found do fit lol its a total guessing game
But the quality and customer service of the first lot tbh id steer clear

the guys at airlift have been helpful with what they said but have stated they cannot guarantee the fit as they have never dealt with a sedan

sithlord wrote:yea but being on air ill be putting a lot of stresses through the bushings with extreme height changes so i went cheap knowing theyd need replacing

there was a kind of logic involved fella
Have you thought about rose joint replacements for the rear toe & camber linkages ??

So air wise, it's the cheap 850 quid, then added new bags ?
So effectively not using the cheap kit any more?
Why did it fail? Did it pinch or just cheap shite ?
