looking forward to you progress :)
haha thanks ;) i dont recall having any issues :S the wheels have been on for 2 months now and i check the nuts every now and then and all seems well so far... are you using the standard wheel nuts?
Yep, using the standard wheel nuts, must be just me, when the wheel is on i can only see about an inch of bolt to place a wheel nut on. just enough to get a few turns in with the nut itself. maybe the ED2 civic has shorter hub bolts.
an inch should be plenty! but the standard wheel nuts have a rounded seating, you want some 60 degree tapered nuts to match up with the seating in the wheels. i got some off ebay but i dont think they're up anymore :S

lol i did wonder :P but even 10mm isnt terrible i dont think

Most aftermarket wheels use 60 degree seatings so the nuts aren't hard to come by, it just helps hold them tight :)

got myself a new steering wheel during the week, woohoo!

Image

I liked the wooden wheel but not very comfortable for long journeys, especially now the weather is warming up! however i nearly didn't make it there! almost got rammed off the road by some stupid chav in a dark blue 4th gen ford fiesta with dark blue wheels poking out of the arches (IIRR). Driver was a Blonde male. if i see him again, words will be had. Frit the life out of me!

but yeah new wheel, much better, happy days.

Slightly off topic, but i didnt want to start another thread.

Here is what i did yesterday!!!! :'D

Image

Possibly the best 2 minutes of my life (only got 2 laps) so much fun! I barely scratched the surface of the capabilities of this car but it felt like it was about to take off whenever i went near the throttle! and the breaks! Holy moly! just a little bit of force and it felt like it was going to stand on its nose! really really really want one!
