89 hatchback with lsv build

Post by oldschool206 »

Im building a white 89 hatchback, its a working project, and finally after two years im swaping in a lsv with gsr head with b16 pistons and sadly a ls ys1 tranny =( got screwed. One of our fellow 4g members is actually doing my build for me and swapping it in, I will keep you guys updated with pics, and upgrades to my project. so far its lowered on no name coilovers with stock shocks, sitting on orange OEM slip streams 15x7.5, had to buy spacers to make em fit and with a mk3 vw front lip and nrg carbon fiber canards. Interior is not that great, its a dx with si seats and a b pillar bar, will post pics when i have a chance, thanks for reading and hop you guys enjoying my build.

I wish we got the ls engine in the UK. There is something about building non vtec engines that makes me appreciate them alot more. Also an I correct in saying the ls engine(b18b?) makes better torque figures?

really? i did not know they dont have have ls's in the uk, so what do they have in the integras? and yes your correct b18 is the ls, i got a usdm one, i think b18b1. im not for sure but i also think its better torque, ive seen many lsv with monster power and its ridiculous. :drivegear:

We have b18c4(gsr) and b18c6. Which is extremely similar to the jdm b18c type r engine.

Nice, I can see the similarity in usdm b18's, cause for ls its b18a1 90-93 integra's b17 usdm gsr b18b1, b18c1(gsr) and b18c5 type r. Are the hp the same?
