Re: EF9 *B18C bye bye*

I haven't got a clue, hopefully when my dad gets a little bit better.

I do have a rather big update coming up soon, spent a few hours in the garage recently to take my head off other things.

There is no replacement for displacement, especially in a NA engine.

Besides, my main reasons are:

More Torque
More Power (I hope)
Freshly built engine, so less burning oil

...and the buzz of having done it (almost) all myself.

I should be knocking on the door of 220bhp with my spec.

Nothing insane but enough to keep me happy...

...for a while.

I've not had any personal experiances with B20's but I've heard of a few reliability issues, that might have been down to the engine builder though...

When it comes to a JDM B18 engine, I've never heard of any reliability issues on a standard engine and if you can find an unopened, low mileage engine I reckon its got to be tougher...maybe if you had any burning oil issues it was down to the engine being out of a hard driven EG6 rather than a low mileage Integra.

On the other hand as you said there is no replacement for displacement so the tourque figures should be up :top:

243bhp sounds tight 8)
