Re: What to do, what to do

The car currently owes me £1600 as I paid £1900 and sold the Rotas on it for £300, so I guess I could easily sell it for that. Respray would probably cost a good £1.5 - £2k if done properly, plus I'd get the sills and arches done at the same time (they look fine at the moment, but I guess getting a ...

Re: What to do, what to do

I guess if I was to sell the EF9 in it's current state it'd definitely have to be as a project car for someone. The paintwork is pretty shocking and it's in dire need of a respray! So I suppose the question is do I spend the money getting the EF9 up to scratch and then sell it, or sell it as is? Wha...

Re: What to do, what to do

I think you've got a point! I kind of know every nut and bolt of that EF7, just need to make this last push and get it done!

What to do, what to do

Should I:

Sell the EF9 and put the money towards mintifying the B18 EF7

Sell the B18 EF7 and put the money into mintifying the EF9

Sell both and buy a '98 spec DC2

What would you do?

Re: Thinking of a mk1 insight. .

I've managed to get 91mpg out of my Insight on runs down to London from Norwich, for a car that's over 10 years old and runs on petrol there really isn't anything that can match it!

Re: Thinking of a mk1 insight. .

My Insight will be up for sale soon, the battery is being reconditioned over the next few weeks, should be good for another 10 years! Send me a PM if you're interested and I'll give you some more details.

Re: My EF9!

Cheers chaps! I can't believe how light they are, easily half the weight of the Rotas at least.

Re: My EF9!

T'is a great little design the EF Hatch. Any plans? Not any power plans yet, I just want to concentrate on getting the paint sorted. The B16A that's in it at the moment runs very sweet too, pulls very well and I can't get over how quiet it is! Would love to get an LSD box on there though... As ever...

Re: My EF9!

Thanks Tahir!
I must say after being a CRX owner I was a little unsure of how I'd get on with the EF9 shape, but I'm completely won over. It's very useful having proper seats in the back too!
