Re: My 3G Honda Civic 1.5 s
Interesting thread. I used to have one of these sadly I didn't get to keep it and mod quite as I wanted. If I've one comment to make it's that your welding is fine for bodywork (although it's not great and as ever practise, practise) and just as poor as mine, which is I know for mine a factor of teh...

What centre console is fitted to this ??
I spy a heat seat switch which doesn't look Honda.
The console looks like a 5th gen civic or newer ?

Re: hand brake cables
They are different lengths.
They can fit as there isn't much in it if you don't have the same amount of slack and/or adjustment.
It's going to work, but it's not factory, and that doesn't likely matter.

Re: My Money Pit - 1990 EE9 VT - JRSC B20vtec
Look forward to the dyno plot. A JRSC and the B20B will make for an interesting combination. The charging will make up for some of the lost compression but you don't say if it's been skimmed/decked. You're likely to find that power starts to tail off as the JRSC will limit what it can breathe and it...

You should have got them to do a cock and balls. That would have been epic.

Re: polyurethane bushings for rear trailing arm
Yes. Change them It will make teh car nosier, harder and squeeky. But it will make a big improvement on the solidness of the handling. You'll notice a massive difference in part because you're going from very badly worn bushes to new ones, regardless of them being ploy. If you want to retain comfort...

D2 Coilovers ( may change these tho)
Please. It's a shame to be doing all that and using not only D2's but very well used ones.

Re: Gizmo's Supercharged 4WD Shuttle - Time Attack!
As garages go it's pretty handy. I can't afford a farm. Must build my garage... I said that about teh light before watching the rest of it. The lighting situ got worse later on. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291201606359" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Plus gaffer tape. Worth it...

Re: Gizmo's Supercharged 4WD Shuttle - Time Attack!
Not bad mate. As you say nervous, first timer etc. Could do with a wee LED light mod on the "go pro" tho for getting up close in the dark bits (arches 2:45) Something off ebay bolted to the bottom of it. Did you rough out a script first or just go for it ? I hate public speaking / presenti...

Re: Fuel tanks
Both (tho one was second hand) came from carz2 or the other place. Can't remember the name.
but bear in mind there is probably only one factory making them.
Most of the panels for EF's can be traced back to one place in Taiwan.

Re: Plumb&Custard
Different copper types have different wall thickness. That doesn't make sense (hey when does government make sense...)
Seriously, they just don't rate copper at all ?
What about aluminium ?
Is there a minimum wall thickness for steel ?
