Re: Civic VT
Small update. These are absolutely the last improvements I'm doing this year bar any breakages . My brakes have been vibrating a bit since Cadwell last year and the front discs were a bit lipped. The DS2500S still had plenty of life after 3 track days, but I've always wanted to try some Carbote...

Re: POB... Will it ever be finished?
My b16b smokes exactly like that. Prime example when I've been in vtec, come off the throttle then press the throttle again (like when heel toeing) it puffs grey smoke. My oil consumption isn't excessive, I thought it might be something to do with the map as it smells a bit rich in VTEC. I don't let...

Re: Civic VT
Haha no, I drilled through the floor and bolted straight through the side mounts from underneath. Can't get the seat any lower than that!
Ad08rs were pretty spectacular on track, not tried them in the wet yet though...

Last job to do before Blyton was fit my steering wheel spacer http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a17/Big_Joe1/Civic%20VT/DSC_7402_zpsxudlbpsx.jpg Much better position now in conjunction with the bucket seat, a fantastic driving position for me http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a17/Big_Joe1/Civic%20VT/D...

Re: Civic VT
Wondered who had got this! Love the plans.. are you converting it to hydro then? I'd watch the RPC clutch... I've had 2 and the 1st one crapped itself on track and my upgraded replacement 6 paddle feels awful. :( I will be at Blyton in my EG so see you there! Yes mate converting it to hydro. Should...

Track day prep complete! Fitted the ITR brakes today. I'd read that there are clearance issues sometimes between ITR carriers and the MG discs but thankfully I had no such issues Disc turns fine with the new carriers fitted http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a17/Big_Joe1/Civic%20VT/DSC_7386_zpslahtavs...

Re: Civic VT
Good stuff Joe. It feels like a different car with better suspension and seats. The seat makes a huge difference to the driving experience, the standard seats have no support at all. I've bolted the side mounts straight through the floor so the driving position is awesome. The bilsteins are quality...
