What Are the Odds?

Post by Gizmo »

How would the EF2 Compare to...

Stock Punto GT with Bailey Dump Valve (only Mod)
Stock Starlet Glanza with HKS Mushroom Filter, Teins etc
1.4 Metro GTa with a 160 VVC

So, what are my Odds? Mark Recons the EF2 will run about 140bhp~ with the vtec working

Edited to exclude the street racing reference

Hell what do i know

BUT

If the GT is working well i would say that would shade you fairly easily, they are crude but effective.

The GTa i would say would whoop you skinny A$$ everytim with that power/weight

As for the Ef i heard mark say it wasnt as quick as his 16-16 so do the maths.

And there is always someone out there that will get the better of you

You should beat the Glanza or at very least match it.

In stock form they arnt quick, especially to 60 as they have limited boost in 1st and 2nd (easy to rectify but most people won't have), then come 3rd / 4th gear the dinky CT9 turbo will be running out of steam and your revs will really show

dont fancy you handing it to the metro, but the others are fair game i reckon, the punto might get in front, just remember to point and laugh as you go past when it breaks, as for the glanza a 16v should see it off easy enough (or i'm a driving god  ) so you should be ok really

just to save me looking whats been done to yours?

My DX last time i went, kept up with the punto GT right to the finish, about 10-15 meters, up his arse.

At that point, ill i had done was Dual Carbs, Backbox and Ignition Timing Advance

Edit-

Ef2 Will Be...

D15b Block
D16z6 Head
D14a1 Dual Carbs
eBay S/S Manifold
Powerflow 2" Middle Section
eBay 4" Backbox
Cold Air Feed

But running on 15" Wheels, with low profiles, and there will be no rear seats, Just 2 bucket seats in the front

What are the odds that a member that's been here since 2007 and has posted 1622 times doesnt know the rules yet.

Do everybody a favour and dont go drag racing on public roads
