is it worth it

iv just been quoted from a bodywork shop on my car, things that im getting done on car:

full spray job in original colour including inside door sills
removing all rust on car and treating it
fitiing full wing west original bodykit, prepping etc..
welding a metal pieces on driver side door

the car will be painted in and oven and will be done professionally

£1000 for all work done above..

its booked in on monday for 2 weeks

let me know what you think

From what i seen of your car, it is well worth it.
The cars body was a real let down.

Hopefully should be mint now..

he got a bake oven so it should be better than mint as iv had my car done in oven from a different garage..

sounds good i've had quotes for £400 just to paint and bake a rear quarter on my old astra

I think most places would charge you more than that just for the full respray, let alone all the other work!

If there's one thing i've learned about bodywork, it's that 9 times out of 10, you get what you pay for.

I've had work done cheap before - and it's looked exactly that (never again !)

Then i've seen some of the cars at Edition 38, where the paintwork is 110% perfect. But they are willing to pay well above £3000 And I mean that - better than factory :shock:

i used to own a show car and i payed £2500 for put bodykit and full respray and it was to perfection, mint as feck

thats a fantastic price!!! why are prices for work so expensive in scotland compared to down south??? cost me £180 to get my front bumper and bonnet done, and that was discounted because i know the guy!!

from your description of what work your getting done i'd defo say its worth it!! 8)
