Anyone here got a Gl with a vt front end?

Do the vt headlights fit into the Gl headlight slot? Or do they need to be modified?

The front panel that the bonnet catch is on does that need to be changed too?

Lights fit no problem. You have to modify the front panel for the pin to get inside the slot properly.. One needs to be moved back, other needs to be moved forward (not sure which is which).

It's the opposite for me as I've damaged the front of my vt I'm taking the panels of my Gl to repair the vt the main thing was the headlight housing part of the actual front panel. I need to cut out the complete panel and weld it to the Gl to get a complete finish. I can repair the one on my vt but since I have the car there I might aswell do a proper job

Everything off your GL will fit to your vt nothing needs to be cut or welded..you'l need bonnet,filler bar,head lights,and bumper..but personally myself if your bumpers ok then keep the vt bumper and just swap over the headlights,filler bar and bonnet until you can get some parts sorted

Will the Gl bonnet hit the engine?

Yep it will,so you'l have to get a bonnet raise kit off ebay,or just use some washers to raise the bonnet

You could fit a CRX VTEC front end, if your struggling to find a CIVIC VT one.

How difficult is that to fit? Any one have pics of civic with Crx vt front end?

And is it a desirable mod?
