Le Mar Green Sedan

Post by Ben_theEFking »

Bought this off Dan (VIP) on Monday. Fancied a sedan again for a long time but finding a clean one with minimal or no rust is almost an impossible task. This one caught my eye however as Dan had replaced all the rust, had some paint done, super low mileage (53k) and some cool mods. We agreed a price and he was good enough to deliver the car to me :top:

Original project thread: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=28531" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Had a good look round it and it is literally mint. It's the cleanest sedan I have ever seen. It also rides very well considering the lowness, camber and wide wheels. Drive it about for a bit Monday then gave it a clean and put her in the garage.

Some pics.

After a clean:

As said I can't believe how clean it is inside and out and how well it drives. Has had a new cambelt and waterpump very recently to. Plans are to keep it clean really and tidy the engine bay as it hasn't been touched in 22 years :lol:

I'll be taking this an the shuttle to JAE (if I can get this over the speed bumps in Wickstead Park :roll: )

Ben you are the worlds largest slut. I mean that in the nicest way possible. It looks immaculate, and in a sick colour. Looks like a good purchase mate.

Cheers bud. It's an addiction that I'm not afraid to admit. I now have what I've always wanted, a sedan, a shuttle and a hatch. I just need another crx to complete the fleet :lol:

Looks nice and clean, but the wheels ruin it IMO.

Yeah well I know the low, wide "stance" look isn't everyones cup of tea but I like it when it's on something that's not meant to be quick i.e. a 1.4 gl auto which is exactly what this and the shuttle are!

I'd never have wheels like this on a valver or a vt but the fact is I will never be driving quick in these cars so you need something else IMO.
