Hi peeps, I have recently ordered a master bushing kit for my ED7, and was wondering if anyone knows how much a garage would/should charge me to replace all of them? I assume that it is quite a lengthy process and I do not have the tools or knowledge (balls) to attempt it myself.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

Take alot of vaseline with you...
It wouldnt be cheap as it involves basically stripping the car down at least £200 plus i would think.
There not hard to do though just very timeconsuming a few people on here have done them just using a blowtorch to burn the old bushes out

Just do them a part at a time, i have replaced some on mine (gearshifter & lca's) and its not a bad job to do, if i can do it then it cant be.

In all honesty i'd love to do it my self, but really wouldn't have a clue how to, I am always worried that i might break/ruin something in the process. Plus, the amount of bushes in the kit is scary lol

get a torche and an power saw, burn the bushing out, then cut the metal base ring out. its really easy just time consuming. You might need a nice hamer and flat head screw driver

Lots of money! Take it, along with the bushes, to a few garages and ask for a quote.

I wouldn't expect to pay a huge amount less than that.
Remember that's dollars, so about £500-£550.
Id say you'd be looking at a very similar, if not higher figure.
1988rt how many hours did it take?

I'm talking standard uk garage price, might be more.. I'll be honest I haven't visited a car garage in the 2 years I've been driving.
