Does your insurance increase if u declare a manula conversion but using the same engine ? Cheers

From memory i think it does pretty sure it upped my quotes when i added the conversion on my Dx.
Best bet just do 2 moneysupermarket searches one with manual conversion one with auto

Well if I'm careful I won't have to clain and I'm not giving them £3000 insurance for a £300 car

Then you can't afford to drive.
If you're fronting anyway there's no point declaring the change. You're insurance is invalid either way.

Well my insurance shouldn't concern you. A manual gearbox in an auto is a bit more obvious then who drives the car more
