Buying a Civic / 4G from Birmingham

Post by PowellyEG »

Just a random one, was looking at a VT for sale and noticed someone's comment on Birmingham being the worst place for a 4G (or any Civic) to go?? no offence but just wanted to ask why??

To be honest its not fair or reliable to stereo type buying a car from an area. Just because someones from Birmingham, doesnt mean their Civic is going to be a shed or by any means dodgy!
I bought my 4g from another forum member, who also lives in Birmingham, and he was very honest about the car, told me every niggle and fault with the car and was a very sound guy to deal with.
I would say, go and look at the car in question, hpi check it if you feel necessary, and throughly check it over (like you would buying any car).

Just my opinion, not trying to cause an argument or debate.

Few people buy cars that look good but are far from it.
As a large majority have been through bham they seem to think they had a hard time here.

Just look over the car and get a second opinion n make sure everything matches up ie engine box. N it drives well

Tahir, There was no offence meant by asking the question. In fact Im sure most people would be keen to understand why? I am not questioning any ones integrity when selling a car local to my good self, it just came up in conversation.
