Project Prelude 4WS

Well as you know my VT died of car cancer! I was on the look out for either another VT, CRX or DA teg.

I know its not a 4G or even a civic lol, although this is my favourite forum so i thought id post it here

After all it is a 87-91 honda

So this came up and i snapped it up straight away!



ITs had ALL!!!! rust removed with many and many and many pictures of everything.

Just to give you an idea of the condition of the underneath



All suspension has been sand blasted and re painted with new bushings also.

The car has all interior still in aswell, Full leather , air-con, PAS , 4WS, Heated Seats, LTD Edition Spoiler and lip kits aswell.

Basically the car is fully loaded although all the rust has been treated it is still to be painted, it will be prepped ASAP and off to paint



Engine is a B20A which unfortunately has 180K on it , but seriously drives new.

Im thinking after a full re-spray nice wheels and a nice drop a H22 conversion

We'll see what happens though

Oh and im not out of the 4G world heres my daily driver family owned with genuine 47k

I was stoked on the find and is being delivered to my house as we speak haha.

Yeah the GL is very Clean although it has annoying things like holes in the dash from some sort of wireless and a extra aerial for the wireless aswell but its been removed so im just left with it lol

Probably going to transfer the VT dash and door cards into the GL and the VT seats if they dont sell

Haha i had something similar to that in my old Gl it had, had an in car phone fitted at some point so there was the remains of an extra aerial fitted in roof

Looks like a smart project, i think i saw it advertised on Prelude UK.

If you are not a member i would recommend joining up, there is a wealth of knowledge there.

I hope you dont get as many Prelude jokes and i get with mine

great stuff happy to see you got sorted with a new motor, looks well maintained . would you not put the vt running gear into the gl when you have the prelude driving?

Nah mate i considered it but at the position i was in it would of been stupid.

I had the GL and the VT doing the swap would mean i wouldnt have a car and no way of commuting back and forth to work

I love the look of teh prelude tho

An i also got a GL so if i can get a manual swap so its not Auto ill stay with teh carbs
