hello all,
I have an SiR which has sat in the garage for the last 4 years (children/work/no spare time etc) so have joined the forum to hopefully get some advice on how to start looking after it again and bring it back to life.
As said, it has sat for a while, and I know I should have turned it over on occasion.... Any advice on things to look out for before trying to start it again would be appreciated.
Seperately, the interior has been stripped to prepare for a rollcage to be welded in, but pieces of the carpet have stuck to the floor (which I also want to paint). Any advice on how to prepare the floor for painting would also be welcomed.
Cheers
Peco

Did you import that? Never seen or heard of it before
I bet there are so many more VT's and SiR tucked away around the country in garages.

was bought in the UK, but is an import. Fairly standard when bought, but I am keen to use for sprinting next year.
Keeping all the interior trim in the garage just in case, though!
