bearing

Post by civicracer »

Take the bearing along to a proper bearing stockist and by referencing the number etched on it they will be able to match it , I never use honda as they are about 3 times the price. Hope this helps. :)

Been having some trouble with this for weeks, need an offside rear bearing for an EE9 1991 Civic. Everywhere i ring say they cant get them ring honda. I ring honda and they say that they dont do bearings they just do the whole hub section?!?! £155+VAT.

Can someone please enlighten me on which bearing off which civic/crx will fit so i dont have to pay this stupid amount?^^

Thanks

I believe these are the same for the Civic and CRX. Could well be the same for Vt and 16V ?

Although you could swap just the bearing out, the normal is to buy the complete hub assembly. They are on ebay for a bit less than Honda, but still arent give away prices. A bearing alone will cost about £20 ish.

Not sure if your talking about the wheel bearings here....and if indeed they are the same as the GL ones. I got a GL one 12 months ago for £40-ish... it's an ADL Blueprint one. If you can confirm that they are indeed the same (which I guess they are not) I can pick up one or at least enquire about one for you next week.
