NASTY 10yr./old BLOWN Tokico Illuminas...

During the rear installation of the OG SKUNKWORKS coilovers to the KYB's.

And.. so fresh and so clean!







I decided to attempt repairing the damaged core support and to ..'just go for it' after installing my Innovative Mounts Axles.

Sorry no pic of the axles.
SIDE NOTE:For referance, the Innovative Axles are @0.5" shorter than the DA/90-93 Integra axle.
I also was very disappointed to discover BOTH ball joints on my Skunk2 Pro-Series A-Arms were completly shot with about 2mm play. These arms are NO OLDER THAN 2yrs!! So I just stuck some 'ok' used factory DA arms.




Stripped the front end.



So the car was crashed and repaired by a previous owner. The core support was never repaired/replaced causing the USDM front end to not align correctly. Here's the carnage..


We were able to pull the lower core support all the way out straight and true. We used factory weldnut bolthole locations and a peice of 1" flatstock, drilled on eachend and coupled with a small schackle to some chain. We used a "Come-a-Long" and some rigging straps pinned to the hitch of an S-10 to pull from.



we put it back together only to find out the area around the passenger light was not pulled out and down just a tid bit. I'm leaving it alone for work this week then will correct all the details of the body lines and fitiment of the panels and lights.


The bumper overhangs on this side, gotta re-fit everything next weekend and mount my CF Password sideskirts.

I respect your opinion, and understand your position....
But, I really do enjoy looking at this when I pilot my car...

For something like the dash TBH I think not putting a gel coat on it wouldbe better.
We had some bonnets made here, fully carbon inside and out, wet lay and vac'd. The insude skin was rough, the outer side wasn't gel coated originally, most people did get clear coat on it.
But something like the dash just looks too bright when it's shiney. I like he part, the fab is great, but if you do another one, perhaps skip the gel and see what you think.

Gel works on the speaker pods and othe areas, but just not where you'll be looking most of the time IMHO.
A full dash with gel coat would also be too bright.
