He got another car and just hasn't had the time to spend on restoring this one, so after a few attempts at trying to buy it off him, he finally gave in and handed over
Obviously for free it's not a minter, but the whole reason he got it in the first place, was because the shell was solid. He has since replaced both rear arches, leaving barely any rust on the bodywork.
The paint has faded as the pictures show but last time he gave it a polish it came up really nice
I also have all the missing bits of trim in the boot of the car
