Iwas rather taken aback to find this PM in my inbox today...

This was after identifying a vehicle that was offered in a post in the for sale section[some nice parts up for grabs] whereby i revealed it was a cat c from a salvage yard,nothing wrong there,just giving people a heads up as the owner did not disclose that fact.

Now to points made in the PM... 1...It starts by sayin aggresivley that i am gutted that i didnt get the civic,a 1.4 auto,now why on earth would i be gutted about that when i own one of the best ef around,a barcelona green SiR,?,.

2..how would i be stopping anyone from making any money?,i wouldnt begrudge anyone making an earned profit.

3.. By the tone of this PM i would never want to be your buddy.

4..How much your car is costing you is of no relevance or interest to me,whatsoever,however you give a rather contradictory pair of statements here,on the one hand you accuse me of trying to "stop you making any money" and tell me im wrong which indicates that you believe you will make money,then in the next paragraph you state that.."its not all about money for some of us".Hmm.

Now all i did was to alert the good guys on this forum to a cheap car that was bought as a cat c from a salvage company,a simple statement of truth and fact and all i get is a nasty PM,well the mods can delete my account as i will not be back on here.

Oh not a very nice warm welcome , I know if I was buying a car I'd like to know the history of the car anyway and absoloutly no need for a pm like that an apology is necessery or a ban

Toxic, if you have any issues with PM's from any body then PM myself or one of the other moderators and will deal with the person in question.

Revealing the background of vehicles is good for potential buyers.
