i picked a set brand new avo 40 drop springs of ebay for 18 pound(bargain) has any one on here ever run these,i m thinking they should be pretty good,i m just putting them on stock shocks though,thanks

I had a set of these on my first 16v - were pretty good if you were just after lowering the car and firming up the suspension. Weren't that harsh.

But as above - personally I wouldn't run lowering springs on oem shocks these days - its better to save and do it properly. Alot of these civics are 20 years old now and are still on original suspension!!!!

But for £18 you can't go wrong :top:

i ll fit them tommorow and see what they are like,they were only about 9 miles way from me too,they will do till i put the 2.2 in in feb ,then i will get some coilys .......

best bargain yet....what a differnce to stock ,rock on ebay..............i coun dt really say out else for 18 quid...............
