Anyone used or using Toyo PX4's? I've heard of the TR1's which seem to be pretty popular, but the PX4s are a similar price, perhaps a little cheaper, just wondering really... I'm looking for unfitted internet tyre bargains!

Yeah, more of a W tread pattern than the usual V.

event the TR1s are not that good in the wet. Try Kumho TU31s (about 28 quid a tyre online) - they are cheaper and would be a better all rounder

Any recommendations for places to order tyres from? I need just tyres delivered to my house, but everywhere i look seems to give prices for fitting, which is no good as i can't drive the car anywhere to get them fitted! Hence why i'm looking at sets on ebay, which is where i've seen the Toyos.

Yeah but i need them delivered so they can be fitted when it goes in for its welding and MOT retest.

Think i will go for the Kumhos, read some reviews this morning and a few said they were as good as or better than Eagle F1's, which is what's on the front of mine at the mo, and i've been pretty impressed with them.

Ordered the sills yesterday, will get the tyres early next week, then book it in and hopefully be back on the road by the end of next week, can't wait! 8)

I have the Kumhos on mu vt atm, and can say I'm impressed for the price. Way less wear than Toyos, although you can tell in the dry that the limit isn't as good but still go all soft after a bit of heavy driving. And they are better in the wet though for sure!

Don't think I've ever seen your car mate! You got a project thread or link to any pics?
