My alarms been fine! if your worried get one of those cigarette light attachments with batterys in

the sirens have there own battery, and if it goes off, you have to re-connect the battery to shut it up.

if you guys are looking for cable, bmws have their batteries in the boot so go to scrappy and get the cable out of one of them, saves spending £40+ on brand new stuff

just got back from the autofactors, was walking round finding bits to keep me occupied and thought of this, ended up buying 3m, just trailed it through and ITS TOO FLIPPING SHORT.

£15 wasted.

anyone want almost, but not quite enough wire to do this mod? :lol:

Atleast 4m is needed as stated in the main post :top:


Don't waste it though. Just get another 1m. Put ring terminals on. Bolt both bits together. Heat wrap it and some insulation tape

yeah i probably should have checked it again before buying... oh well, itll get sorted sooner now i have some of the parts (and all of the inspiration) to get on with this!

Tried this today with 8awg cable and er let's say it won't turn over :( buying some 2awg tomorrow as stated :)
