Springs, which height to go for?
Springs, which height to go for?
im looking into buying a set of Eibach springs to go with some Bilstein dampers
Eibach do 2 kits, the Pro kit which lowers around 30mm, or the Sportline kit which lowers around 40mm. the Pro kit is £160, im yet to find a price for the lower kit.
im not sure which to go for. 30mm is roughly what the Tein s-tech springs are, and when i had them they were great, but could of been lower, but im not sure if the 40mm will be too low
what u recon?

i thought u already re-ordered them?
yeh they were great for the money!! nice progressive spring, does what it was suppose too lol
havent had any other aftermarket springs on my car to compare, but from what ive used in the past and what friends have used, they are very good, 8/10 id say
there are better out there, but these are very suited to civic's
EDIT:
here my car with the S-Tech springs on...

well they are basically the same spring, just one set is lower. they both boost the same factorsEE9 CVC wrote:But is the PRO KIT not better in terms of handling than the sportline?

i think you guys are right
i dont know what mine is lowered at the moment, but at a guess id say 35/40mm ish
im gunna find out some prices tomorrow, as i cant find anywhere that stock the 40mm kit for the crx/civic EE, so may have to settle for the 30mm kit
my 306 had a 30mm kit and it was alot lower than 30mm with the bilstein shocks...
