I think 10am is about right, most people will have a journey of less than 2 hours so a 8am start isnt a major hardship. Mine is around 170 miles and i am driving a 'chubby' EK3 so will have to set off at around 4am

If people turn up later then they miss out on all the fun

I may aswell come only 20 mins away. They use a "v-tech" dyno. Last time I went it measured in ps and not bhp. If you have a very low front end expect to take your bumper off like a lupo had to when I was there lol..

The dyno is a VTECH V-2 .

Thats the only car we have ever had to do that to . We now have some nice boards to reduce the angle of the ramps and we have got everything on since. Rich.

The dyno does read in ps for the power and nm for the torque . As that is how all euro car spec and now stated from the factory . but 1 ps = 0.98631997 bhp .
We can do you the conversions on the day and flywheel and wheel horse power printouts .

The start time is set at 10am for all of our club meet as we can do 3 cars an hour so we like to get started so we can get home to your family's at a reasonable hour , if people are travelling I understand that and you will get there as soon as you can , If the local people get to us for 10am at least that way we can make a start .
