Yeah, it's even longer for me tho I also want bits from him.

They are supposed to have lock nuts on both sides, mine are still as new unfitted. I see what you've done there with tightening down one side fully. With mine, toe and the camber arms, I intended to find the sweet spot, then grind back the paint, blob a weld on there and paint back over again. Then they wont self adjust ever again.

I've yet topaint something with supposedly the same colour and have it match the other bodywork on anything.

with the 1 Nut old, "Should" stop it twisting. I cant turn them by hand (Like i used to do, when all 4 wheels on the ground - Party trick at Chav Meets  )

Thing is, Chianti Red is full of Pearl, so its a bitch anyways to match right with an Aerosol. Im tempted to wrap the roof in some carbon, Possibly the bonnet aswell until i can afford to have it painted - or is this too chavvy?

I looked at the sedan today and figured on making the top half all NSX style - satin black.
Carbon wrapping the roof tho... all of it... hmmm.

I've got a problem with the shuttle cos I figure now, there aint much point. Might as well just let it look like A$$.
Even tho I have some nice bits saved up to go on, its make it fast first then worry about it.

Same boat, I got some spares "in the same colour" tho the 4WD is Chianti and the Gl is Torino, or something like that.
So anyway, it's slightly different colours as you know.
Never easy anyway !

I do want a full respray. Just ATM, Cant afford it. and would like the shuttle looking a bit "Nicer".

The bonnet has severe lacquer peeling, and its been sanded through the primer in a couple spots. And it looks like A$$.

Saw this today, and i'm determined to get it all in a single colour.

Nice but even that has it's issues.
I must just be a shuttle trait !!

One thing about that picture shouts at me, and it's the same from the sedan. The inny bonnet. I want an outy - for both !

Question for you Giz:

Folding mirrors for a shuttle - assuming they never exisited (I don't think they did) - is it wrong to make them fit ?

the only thing different about the shuttle mirrors, is the base. I basterdized a Hatch one to replace my busted passengers one.

But, then, im assuming the folding mirror base on the hatch is the same as a non folded one?

Only the mounting points to the chassis being the same. The rest is very different. Even the glass is a different shape.
I noticed the other day, my sedan has a sedan driver mirror but a crx pass mirror.
I'm fitting folides to it. All it means is that you can see 5mm thick band of trim in front of the mirror. But if you never knew, you wouldn't know.

I had a spare set of shuttle mirrors, but my butchering attempts to get foldies to fit a couples of years back, I chose the passenger side to mess with as Marc donated a passenger door to me.
But the shuttle mirrors are sooooooooo different it's not funny.

I'll double check, but pretty damn certain it's different between the foldy / non-foldy.
