Not too much leg room up front, so I think I will put the CRX seat in for a bit, as my foot was starting to ache after a while.

I have a code 17 on the ECU (faulty VSS connection/sensor), so need to sort that asap!
Could the seat be modified higher?

Going back to the bodyshop Monday to chat to my mate, and I also need to bleed the brakes as i was getting some serious pedal flop earlier.

To be honest, that would make it worse, and then I'd have to buy a 300mm steering wheel lol. The seat needs to go further back, and the CRX one will make it sit about 2-3" further back, and about 1" lower

That's what I've been doing today. Put on OEM VT suspension, and it has dropped it nicely, around 40mm, but it could be lower. I think 16v springs would lower it a tiny bit more, and bring the back down too, but as it stands now, it handles A LOT better.

VT shocks are on the right.

I also fitted the CRX seat in. 8)

Tomorrow I'll be swapping the steering wheels and stereo system from the VT to the Shuttle. Then Tuesday I'm off to see Craig & James. I'll put the new stickers, wind fairing and alloys on when all the paint work has been sorted out.
I really need to get the speedo sorted this week and the painting though! Those are top priority right now.

Today I've noticed theres something up with the VT suspension, the right side is sitting about 1" lower than the left, so I think either the shocks are knackered and/or the springs have a crack...?(

Today I fitted the Momo steering wheel and boss, and Alpine USB headunit, and booked a Toad Ai606 alarm to be fitted.

Today I went to see James in Suffolk. Shuttle was superb, didn't skip a beat. Got about 300miles from a full tank, which is a just little worse than the VT, but still very respectable for a 1.5tonne car.

Arrived home to some parcels; a set of much better condition VT suspension, as well as a dashmat, and my tax disc holder ;)
I'll try and get some pics tomorrow as I'm thinking I'll put the alloys on.... I'm getting impatient

Suspension is all sorted. It's not as low as I had hoped, but it will do.

I've done a few things today; put the alloys on, fitted a front upper strut brace, added some stickers, touched up the chips and scratches - which I still need to buff off the excess paint. I also put the Shuttle seat back in as I haven't got any room to store a spare seat, plus it makes the whole car look a lot 'cleaner'.
I have also started work on the engine bay. I've remove some unneeded brackets and re-routed a few wires/hoses, took off some bits that need painting, and started to clean and polish the rest of the bay.
