Re: Blue DX D16A9
So annoying when that happens as its really hard to claim sometimes. Im going to the scrappy at the weekend to see what I can find turbo wise. Normally can find a few pretty decent ones

Re: Blue DX D16A9
Well as some of you may know I had my arches done
Before
I'n the middle
After
Now just getting the car ready for paint! I really want the windscreen out, but not able to do so! As I dont no how and it's 150 quid to remove and refit! O well doesn't matter!
Still unsure on colour

Good to see you have gotten the rust sorted out
To remove the windscreen;
You just need to remove the scuttle panel, trim around the window (hard as it breaks easily) Roof lining out along with the A pillar trims. Then go around and around the whole windscreen with a long craft chopping out the sealant rather than just slicing it. Thats how i got mine out of my old Gl Took 3 hours of intense concentration and praying it wouldnt crack but i got it out in the end

Re: Blue DX D16A9
Glad to see the car's back on its arse.
Also great work on tidying up the rust. Caught it nice and early.
If it was still mine i would keep it the same colour or maybe go all white or black.
I better still be first to get this back if you feel like selling lol

Really wanna try it, but Iv heard so many stories that didn't go very well! How easy is it to get hold of the plastic trim and how much does a windscreen cost just incase!!walsh123 wrote:Good to see you have gotten the rust sorted out
