Why not? its not like I'd ever take my car through anything other than a small puddle.
i dunno, lol
i dont mind the standard airbox. but when my battery gets relocated ill be making my own intake system ;)

Thats not a bad idea, although I can't see much benifit from it as its sort of in a box as it is.

I know I need a vent in my bumper but I don't know if I have the balls to do it.
yeh i know what you mean, but at least it would be enclosed and air tight

DO IT!!! its easy enough to fibre glass over in the future if you decide you dont like it. my front bumper needs a respray anyway so i wasnt too fussed

The standard box with a CAI is very good, if I still had my standard box that is what I would have done. The only problem with it can be that it won't make quite as much power at very high rpms.

I would be getting the bodyshop to do it so it should look good and you're right, I suppose it would be easy to plastic weld over it if I didn't like it.

I'm glad you all like the sound, Prospeed are to be reccommended.

You should hear it now with the different intake.

I've been working on updating the fuel lines in the bay, got a nice collection of parts ready to go on now.

I am hoping to get it all fitted soon, just waiting on one more part to come.

Other than that the only other things I've bought are new rear brake discs and pads which I will fit as soon as I get a chance, and some dry weather.

I wanted them to look good and not go rusty so I gave them a paint. I think they came out rather well. :D

I am looking into getting a Carbon Fibre Bung made up for the sunroof. So I might get that done soon, but I also want to change all my bushes to Hard Rubber ones.

Why you replacing it with a bung, whats wrong with the glass one in there?

Or you doing it to save weight?

I had these silver originally, but I decided to change them to black as silver stands out too much imo, black looks smart but remains discreet. I did the outside edge of the disc silver though as you can see, don't want that rusting either.

Well, my front drivers side drain has become blocked so doing this will keep the water out. But also it will save me about 15kg in weight. I'd do a tintop conversion, but its too expensive to get a tintop posted here from England or Scotland.

Let us know how the bung goes.
Where are you planning getting it done, or from?

My mate Alan at the Bodyshop reckons he can make it for me.
