Its been a long time since i posted any up dates :(
but the end of my season finished up a bit early due to my engine getting
a little bit tired :(

so i used the time to upgrade the car :D
its now got type r drive shafts and front brakes
also switched from ferrodo pads to carbon lorraine...well worth it

and the best bit is i went for a few more bhp and got a b16b
and added an omex 600 ecu and jenveys tb's to it :top:

just got it back today from tom casey race engines where it made 186bhp and 136ftlb
not sure what it compares to other rolling roads but after a short drive
im happy with it

il try get some pics up soon (but sorry none of the rolling road graph) :(
and hopefully some in car footage when
we get it out to do some testing
before we start our 1st rally of the year at the end of feb

B16B on ITB's in an EF 8)

It will be an ultimate screamer, dont worry about dyno figures, as long as it drives well and you are happy with it.

Pictures please.

Ive only had a short spin in it and ya it just wants to sream its head off :OD
also helped with the gear x gearkit and seems to pull great from down low
but wont really know what its like till we get some proper testing done
(or a few rally stages)

but it also has the added benfit of sounding completely nuts :top:
but the great induction noise does get a bit drowned out with the buddy club spec2 exhaust
which sounds insane at vtec but just way to loud !!
which is ok in a rally car when your wearing a helmet with an intercom system

respect to anybody brave enough to use 1 of these systems day to day with the bung out
of the tail pipe

and just for anybody who is interested,
the guy who was mapping it said it was suffering badly with the bung in,
which we just tried to see what difference it would make, but it was taken out early in the run
so im not sure what the total diffence would be

Only just seen this, car looks superb mate. Good to see anoth EF running ITB's, I've gone down a similar route, B16A on jenveys running an emerald ECU, probably produces around about the same pub figures I suspect. Get some pics up of the engine bay! 8)

Need to see some videos of this with the B16B, both in car and flybys.

Nice to see another 4G rally car.

New upgraded protection for this year,
the last steel version was in a sorry state after a hard life
This one is tooling grade ally, a bit dearer but worth it as its tough stuff

Superb, looks fantastic! 8) 8)

Are you gonna use a filter or just leave the trumpets naked!

Are they honda Injectors? I couldn't seem to use honda injectors with mine, I went for the SF's, not sure if they're different injector fitting. :?
