another small update got a import plate to clean the front up abit :)

also tryed loosen my coilys again lol and finally done it :D with the help of my hammer :lol:

but still didnt manage to lower it as the bottom of the coily is wound alway up so wot can i do 2 lower it no help please :lol: coz these are starting 2 fucking piss me off :evil:

Take the lock rings off, get about 5mm per ring

On your picture.

From the bottom...

you have the bracket, then a lock ring, another lock ring, and then the spring perch, you can take the lock ring off and wind the bracket up to the spring perch

thing is m8 the bracket is up as far as it can go, i was thinkin could i lower the spring perch down would that do it

You can, but youll be shortening the shock travel, thus making the ride a bit S*!t (then again, being so low....) you also risk the spring loosening from the perch

That 'zaust is so ghetto it's an MOT failure! :lol: Class!

Yea...you should not tamper with the springs seating position. They are supposed to have a small amount of pre-tension on them. By lowering the spring against the shock, you will not only reduce your suspension travel, but you will probably damage the damper in use....when you jack the car up the springs will be loose....which is also an MOT failure (in most cases)...lol.

right i just remembered when i had the D2s on my ef hatch it was real low at the front on 16"s then when i put 13" steels on the front was slammed and i havent adjusted the coilys since then so i was wondering are the hatch front forks slightly shorter than the sedan forks if so ill have to try get some hatch forks, could some one measure theres or already knw and then i can measure the sedans cheers

another small update had to sort my rad out as my old 1 looked like this

so i had to get this sorted as i didnt wanna risk blowin another engine haha so got on here and swaped my Cpillar brace for a better looking rad with johnboymartin on here and finnaly got it fitted today heres a pic of a better lookin rad haha
didnt get a pic of it in the engine bay though lol this rad will do untill i get some money and get a nice alloy rad :D

cheers m8 i cant wait 4 my college grants :) get some more stuff done , yea i would recomend that you sort ya rad lol espeaicly if you go on track days :lol: :lol:

I've got another one from Rich (RDalton) sat at home. I just need to get it fitted. Will hopefully get it done in next few days

I'll kee pan eye on this project mate. Can't wait to see what you do with it ;)

another small update went out earlier and did the carb mods with cutting the springs and wot not and i also decided to give the caps a good clean and polish them up so there nice and shiney now :lol:

havent took it out yet as im low on fuel haha but i remebered from my hatch that it was abit more responsive :D

May be more responsive in Low Revs, but youll pay for it in the high revs were power wants to be made
