Oldskool J-EDM wrote:I note that your going for 65 profile tyres......was this stock on the Shuttle? I'm running with them on my GL and I have to say....I am looking forward to getting some 60's instead of the 65's.
For the 4WD models...
UK - 165/80/13
USA - 175/60/14
JDM - 185/60/14

I'm still undecided whether to go 60 or 65, but I dont want them to look skinny, and fill the arch nicely, as they are bigger on a Shuttle compared to a Civic/CRX.
The Shuttle isn't about handling, more comfort and 4WD action

I've dropped mine so there is weed like cleearance on the underside but the arches are stil not filled.
God knows the USDM boys must have no speed bumps.

I've got the OEM centre caps.
They do look good on steelies, tho definately need a paint.
IIRC one shuttle I had got 14's the other which I'm using came with 13's.

Updates?

No updates, I don't have anything left to do, just gotta wait for Daz to pick it up, but that wont be for about 3 weeks. :(
Plus I'm trying to sort the dizzy on my VT which is more important right now.

Yesterday I did try a CRX seat in. They almost fit, the rails from the Shuttle seat need the holes widening, thats it.
:D
I'm going to fit some, but I want some without CRX on them.

You can see here they sit around 2" lower...

And I put some 16v alloys on...

I'm modding the OEM seat to make it a touch lower. I'll look at the foam in the CRX base and see if that can be used instead.
None of the bits for the back would match the base, but I dunno about different coloured seats.

Ah, it's for the VT, I thought it was for the Shuttle...

I have a VT dizzy.

lol get with the program!

PM me about it, im crossing over projects and its getting confusing.

id rather just bolt in CRX seats, they are better shaped and hold you better, and can be made to fit with minor mods.

i think the 88-89 seats had no writing on them?
