Day 153-155
I started painting the new wheels. I did one white but I didn't like it. So I stripped it again and did it Vauxhall Platinum. I need to polish up the rim again, but I like it. Didn't want to go black, or white, and I had some of this paint left over, so may as well!

Them colours clash imo.
Would have looked nice with a coloured centre.

i think im just going to do them a medium shade of metalic silver.

Indeed, the work you spent polishing that lip, it wont be noticed with such a white colour!

i agree m8 you deff do a better colour on them to make that lip stand out and shine better

your all saying better colour, but what do you class a "better" colour? the car is red remember, so any non-neutral colour will stand out too much, which is why its got to be silver/grey. doesnt have to show the bling lip anymore than it is, coloured centres (not silver) are over done these days.

why not colour match it to the car man that might look pretty cool as iv never seen that done b4

nah not a fan of that, it also means i have to buy expensive paint, and im trying to keep costs down

think they are about 1100-1200kgs sadly the 4wd does ad a fair bit of weight
a b20 would be alot of work cause it requires the use of the crv 4wd system
if you do want one check out my thread
