cheers man i had a go at polishing the insides , picked up a little drill bit kit but it just wasnt happening, going to stick with the black for the moment. got her back yesterday and she handles much better with the new shocks
its not a huge drop but now she had time to settle it looks a lot better, i will try get a better pic. still want to go lower but its not happening at the moment, not too sure about the cut springs route as i dont want to ruin the handling. the front is as low as it can go on the adjustment nuts, going to look into upgrading the torsion bars in the near future so when they are off i can drop her more. i cant wait to put the 14s on, hopefuly that will look a lot better, but one of the tyres will have to be sorted as its the wrong rotation so im going to have to wait till i can get that sorted. had a bit of a garage clearout and managed to find him
mr dampachi , used to sit in the scoob but now pride of place on the passenger seat of the 3g, just wish i had a set of medievils!
also got cracking on the engine bay tidyup
sprayed the battery tie bar blue and fitted a new earth strap ( to match the vin plate ) , also resprayed the pancake! it was looking a bit tatty and rusty so a quick coat of hammerite and its all good, and fitted a little breather filter. not sure if i should repaint the honda badge on the rocker cover or just get rid of it? thats all for now , she is getting there slowly
