So I'm thinking (well basically I think I will) sell the Speedboat. The car will be sold almost as it stands, with the Mugen RNR's, 12months tax and MOT.
I've gone almost as far as I want to go with it now and I really need the money, more than I ever have. I'm starting a new life in Australia and I don't think I'd feel comfortable shipping it over, plus I would like something bigger as it feels a bit like a toy. My next project will be an Integra DA6, if I can find one. But think I'll be buying a Subaru Forester as a daily.

Anyone interested? Serious buyers only please, I don't have the time (or patience for that matter) for tyre kickers or dodgy fucks or kids who don't have a clue.

I am typing up an advert this week and will advertise it next week. Viewings will be late November/early December.

Re: EFK9 B16B - The Speedboat *FOR SALE?*

So, I am back in the UK for a few weeks to sell the Speedboat.

It has been an amazing 9 years, and I have learnt so much from this car, met some amazing people, and been on some great journeys, but it's time I wrapped it all up and moved on. I now live in Australia and it will cost me about £3000-£4000 to ship it over and get it on the road there, it's just not worth it. I've grown out of it, and gone as far as I want to go with it, and I REALLY want an Integra DA6 (have for many years) after owning a DA9 in Melbourne, so I will be on the look out for one of those when I return. There are a few there, so I have to just be patient and hope something comes along, hopefully a white one near to where I live (Darwin), but I expect when I do find one it will be 4000kms away!

Here's a few last pictures I will ever take after it's last ever clean by me.

Its a cracking car and an end of an era. I just bope the new owner looks after it as you have.
DA6 Teg is also on my wish list, so you have'nt lost any taste.

Just as an aside, where did you get the front upper cusco brace from? I'm after one to match the my rear one

I've just waived goodbye to the Speedboat.

It's gone to a very good new home, and I look forward to a new project thread in the near future.

Sad days.

I'm in the process of getting mine ready for the same fate.

I fear for the future of the forum with 2 long term members selling up.

The Facebook group just isn't the same.

I'll never sell mine, I still love it.

If only I was loaded I'd also have one of the above two (Tahirs or Marcs) aswell, got some good ideas for another civic.

Fair enough Ian, yours is something else, but I've got a bit bored with 4G's, the body isn't quite what I want and I find them a bit too short. I much prefer the DA and can't wait until I can start a new project, but I have a Subaru to play with now, I'm already looking for parts for it but I need to sort a few things out on it first. Prehaps I'll start a project thread for it when I get back next week.
