Found the tools  All my fault. Even the 14mm socket was in the tool box right in front of my eyes - just in a different place. Feel like a right W*nker

Im sorry dude.

Yes I know but after taking them off last time and breaking all the clips I didn't fancy doing that again  The vt sill covers are bad enough!! Bad piece of design that one imo

I wouldnt of took the stripes off. as they are near impossible to get back on in the same position, and you need to take out the rear interior plastics to get the rear 1/4 ones off.

Took them off a while ago as they were knackered too. I've got a replacement but I'm not sure if I want the stripe back!

Didn't know that about the rear quarters ones! Glad I didn't attempt that, I'd still be there putting it all back together! I know then bend really easily too and its hard to get them back straight

And no Giz - was just a cheapo spray for now, ideally I want some new bump strips in absolutely mint condition....

Good work Rich, i never thought of spraying the door strips while still on the car! Mine annoy me cos the door ones go grey really quickly, so may have to copy you!

yeh they are bastards!! as the clips go in opposite directions so you cant just slide off, you need to pop them out. same with the door ones and wings, but they are easier to get at.

looking fresh mate! :top:
