Are you sure those fit? Nowhere does it state it's for a D16A9..
D16A9 head bolts are M11x155, while D16Z6 ones are M10x140. Unless I missed him changing the engine that is ofcourse ?

and also I'd say definitely go for custom pistons if you are building it as most other d series pistons would lower the compression way to much and give you massive lag and a slug off boost
good luck getting it finish some beautiful paintwork going on
Cheers buddy! It will be a car il prob never sell now! Just keep learning and doing stuff to her and see what I can do with it basically!

I want to go big power but I may not do it to this engine now! May save some my pennies and do something wild in the future! :drivegear:

Yea I'm happy with the paint work it's dvp a USA Honda colour which they use on the 3rd gen intergas, I think I'm the only one in the uk with it I believe! :OD

So after everything dried! I wasn't happy with the finish! It went a horrible texture so had to strip it all back  !

Image

Image

So after lots of stripping! Then hitting the side with my bum on wet primer and stripping and staring again  final got the last coat on!

Image

Don't get me wrong it's not perfect there are imperfections! But they should be hidden by components, all I have is my garage and one 1.7mm gun with a 50l compressor! and it's still an engine bay at the end of the day!

Here's a close up of the colour!

Image

Glad this stage is over not gonna lie lol but I am happy now! If it drys correctly that is lol

Really good work bud.

it's still an engine bay at the end of the day!

^^^^^^= Engine bay's are just as important as the roof, bonnet, bumpers!
And yours will look good with all the work you've done, be proud bro!

Re-do the brake lines.

alot of effort gone into the build so far. Just the brake lines look WELL out of place!
