Threw a few bits on this to make room to fit a clutch to the ek and save them being damaged so took a few pics kinda of a teaser of what it will look like when its all finished in champ white anyways some pics

Filler bar, T bar, and head lights fitted

Image

All the front bits on it not bolted up but you get the idea

Image

Image

Image

A pic or two of the two of them :)

Not much happened on this found a few parts i needed like an ef-2 front subframe till i get my traction bar as the ef-9 one wasn`t working out so swapped mine for burchellcivic`s one and some other bits for the missing pin stripe bump strips i was missing Cheers for that burchell

Sorted the dc5 recaro`s height with spacers on the rear 2 mount points so they both sit level and slide now

Port matched the inlet to match the bigger throttle body

Spacers be coming in soon so can actually fit my hubs+ brakes wheels and drop it to the ground And was missing a 90 degree valve so had to get a tiny one and an extension for the time being will be ordering a new set of valves before it hits the road as the old ones aint looking as fresh as the wheels , also picked up a tanabe backbox i`ll be running some custom 2.5inch pipe from the fujitsu to the tanabe with some angle and a bit sideways

Have 80 per cent of the bay primed and smoothed what looked nasty but aint going all out flushing to much engine in the way not much point and pain me hole doing it and only lil bit left so just getting it into a roller finish last small bit start the fun bit off putting it all together like a big crazy jigsaw with no picture on the box

few pics of bits done to it

Image

Image

Image

Picked up some sounds for it along the way

Image

missing trim bits

Image

Be rolling as soon as spacers come in hurry up Andy cant wait to see it on the ground and see how low my sump is heap of updates soon and if parts dont come soon i`ll get board and start playing with this

Image

update 2

Done a few bits to this put the motor back in to check my clearance issues are gone for good and they are happy days , Got it into a roller with some 17`s up front still dont clear the brakes so gonna sell the ray`s take near 500 with tires 450 as are with 2 tires on, So can find something jap with + offset instead of minus

anyways pics of that sitting on ek4 stock shocks so very crv atm but once i get the ohlins on it`ll be alot better have the ohlins in the rear, have to sort a front subframe issue and i`ll throw the fronts in

Reason i have to sell my rays friking big brakes

Image

Shocks rear sub front sub and camber arms on

Image

Tried to fit brakes with 17`s no luck

Image

Motor in lower pulley has half inch clearance now and no longer hits the chassis legs or will ever hit with the mounts

Image

Image

Image

Rear mount is fairly tight but will see how that goes
Image

The tanabe i picked up checked what it was at the time forget now but good reviews and should be loud ,

Image

Image

The rear lip i made from my old black bumper fits nicely to the jap bumper

Image

The last bit i`ll be making white soon as i smooth it out after the welding and filler and mark out the pinstripe fit chargespeed skirts i`m collecting 2moro at some stage ,

Image

All four wheel`s on the ground after about a year and a half

Image

Also picked up some charge speed side skirts couldn`t find ef-9 ones so will make do with these and a ek-9 gear knob and trs strap which i`v fitted to my ek-4 saloon matches all its blue bits will get a purple one for this

Image

plan on being all finished in a few weeks

Image

Front strut, 1 inch m/c airfilter and rad collors and hoses fitted,

Image

Image

C pillar and lower strut fitted

Looking soo good man, massive effort.
I love the wheels without spokes.
Not keen on the m/c cap or strut bases though :(
