Thanks for the comments lads
Engineered my self a 'tilt' bracket for my number plate.
This is the bracket, the bolt through the middle is left loose, with a nylon lock nut on it.
And plate fitted.

Function over form mate
It's left loose, meaning the plate swings back when driving, can't read it in rear view etc. Also it only cost £5ish.

the other one, does the same 'function'.
,
it also can be left loose,
look alittle neater and doesnt stick out as much.
wouldnt cost that much to be honest.

I was going to to be honest, but turned out to be a bit of a rush job before a meet last night. Will have another play about with it at some point, but i'll just leave it as is for the time being.

Almost wrote it off earlier, lit the wheels up leaving some skid proof on a bend, sending me towards a curb. Managed to dodge cars, and not spin, but did hit the curb. SSR has been damaged ): I dont have a day off till next tuesday, so I wont be able to drop it in for repair for a while.

I'm goin to take the wheel into a repair and refurb place on tuesday, my next day off and see what they say. A mate of mine has 2 SSR's in white, as 2 were damaged in a crash. I'll have a word and see if he still has them if the wheel place say they cant do anything with it.
