Butane burner? Sounds like a recipe for burnt paintwork and fingers to me.... also. don't like the idea of a burner directly onto the fuel tank....

Does anyone fancy having a go at this with me? I'd pay fuel and lunch.

lookin really good mate, kind of where im going with mine, just more extreme lol. Looks cool with the dash out trust me you should do it. Also for a bit more tidyness you can relocate them door wires to the back of the door.

cant believe its so clean, I love it. Really simple but looks really good. All i'd do is lower it a bit then leave it looking like that lol.

Got big plans dor the a9 then?

Cheers Richy,

It's already lowered 40mm and I don't want to go too much further - it still looks high because the wheels are so small - 14" wheels on 195 - 45 profile (instead of 60).... lowers the gearing, y'see?

Engine will soon be going for head ported, flowed and skimmed, adjustable cam gears and a re-chip. Hoping for some good figures - it feels d4mn quick already because it's so light!!!

yeah im considering 14's for mine. cant believe thats 40mm doesnt look low at all. do you get much body roll from it?

Im not sure what route im gonna take with mine yet, buy a low mileage a9 and do similar to what you are or go for an engine swap. Will be interesting to see what figures you get. Might help me decide.

I'll let you know what we get out of the A9....

Get a bit of body roll on track, but that will be cured with the new anti-roll bars I'm getting. Lower isn't always better.......

Did you see that guy who has a full engine in the traders section?

Thanks for the comments guys.

Marc, Daz is the man - he'll be doing the engine work. Really looking forward to it and I know that he knows his stuff!

Let's try for a day next week for the black sound deadening (thanks a lot!)

PS - Don't suppose you're any good with moving the battery into the boot stuff?
