update on the blue beast :)

got a 4-2-1 ebay job feels a bit better though but sounds like s#@t though coz its blowing from the seperator in the middle of manifold and there's a hole in my back box so i need to get the skunk2 system a.s.a.p..

and the same day that i fitted the manifold i decided to repair and respray the rear filler bar and sorted the rust transfer on the rear arch pretty good with a an aerosol and quite a good colour match aswell.. :D

also i might scrap the b16a1 idea for now because i cant afford it yet, so i've got an ed7 sat there with a d16a9 in and everything's there to convert from carb to injection so im gonna throw that in for now, what do you think????

also one of the happiest days of my honda life happened the other week i got rid of the cream leathers and bought some ef9 seats for £100 with £45 postage from cornwall the lad who sold them to me is breaking a white ef with a b18 engine does anybody know him on here ????

oh yeah and a few stickers aswell but were'nt too keen on the square rising sun so i've changed it now and put coming out of the corner i'll update soon on that and i dont like the police one as i did'nt expect it to be that big but i slat it on there anyway just to wind em up a bit like ya do

anyway enough typing for now here's some pics.. :civic:

What a lush little DX! Paint looks stunning and the side profile of the car is really top notch with the wheels and the ride height :)

No greater fun then backing off the throttle at 7400rpm and spraying fire out the exhaust ;)

cheers lads :top: i keep it as mint as i can (its the law) to keep my civic clean, u got some pics of your civic's..

what is the d16a9 like is it quick and reliable and good on fuel anyone ????

plus another thing ,i drove my civic (d16a9) today and the exhaust is snapped completely off at the bottom of the manifold and it would'nt pick up at all i could of ran faster do u think its down to lack of back pressure???? because it idle's mint and revs up properly when sat still coz i just keep thinking its knackered, please a9 owners i need some good info on these engines... lee.

Love this car, best DX colour.
D16a9's are great, it's the swap I'd do for a DX.
40+ mpg can be had.

as said by Dida ^^^ 40+ Mpg is achievable. The best I have managed is a 44.18 mpg and you cant really ask for more then that. Power wise 140 bhp is easily achievable with a small amount of work and with a skimmed head and decent head work and supporting mods you can see 155bhp+. The most recorded on crx-uk is 166bhp iirc.

Have a read up on tuning ;) yeah if the exhaust is damaged it will kill power
