drove to inverness once, from a full tank got 392miles!! and i wasnt even driving slow

i used to get about 300 miles to a tank, on motorways mind driving at about 80... ish :oops:

300 miles to 40 litres is 34.1 mpg, to hit the magical 40mpg you would need to cover 352 miles from a full tank of fuel ;(

The best I have ever had was 335 which works out at 38.07 mpg
D16a9 Powered dream machine!

No greater fun then backing off the throttle at 7400rpm and spraying fire out the exhaust ;)

Have say im quite impressed by that figure :shock: 8) I thought a 4g tank was 50 litre though, shows how much i puit a full tank in :oops: I could probably have managed 352 if i had been driving more conservatively :drivegear:

I wouldnt worry rolling around with a full tank of fuel is uneconomical anyway walsh especialy in a light car! :top:

:lol: true i wish i was doing it for weight saving reasons haha, if i was that serious abuot it though id have to get a hair cut aswell :OD

just managed 227 miles from 23.90 litres of fuel which works out at..... 43.18mpg and 14.10p a mile ;)


VERY impressed with that figure but I want to breach 45mpg on this next run ;)
