I used to love my first rally spectating in the 80's. Cars like Lancia Stratos, Lancia Delta S4, Ford RS200, the short wheel base Audi Quattros, Metro 6R4 and Peugout T16. Those old powerful cars were superb and the hands of drivers like Henri Toivennen RIP they were as fast on a gravel track as they were on tarmac. But my number 1 car from the rallying scene would be the Lancia Delta Integrale they developed when Group B rally cars were outlawed.
I was amazed by the Mclaren MP4-12C super car featured on the recent BBC programme how to make a super car. The care Mcalren took to make and design these cars was amazing. Two year waiting list for one and £160k + depending on spec.
Finally a computer assisted car that is probably the most cost effective high performance car to own the Nissan Skyline GTR. Loads of variations of GTR over the years.
This in a dream world or what you could possibly work to achieve?
Dreamworld:
1) Ferrari 458 italia (underground racing twin turbo one )
2) BMW m3 gtr (e92 I think?)
3) ford rs200
Might happen one day maybe;
1) e46 m3 csl
2) hawk eye impreza sti
3) Nissan Silvia s15 / skyline r32.
1-A 3 rotor RX7
2-R32 skyline
3-Something oldskool with a 9k rev limit, flatslide carbs/itbs, lopey cams and and obnoxious exhuast. ta22 celica, C10 skyline,240Z with an L28 not fussed tbh.
1) Austin Martin DB9 coupe - for a daily driver - I know bit boring to you lot but i love the styling, however I will never own one, I could never afford the price tag...
2) RB26DETT converted 240z Roack Auto built at circa £30k+ (inc import tax I will own one in the next 10 years)
3) EK9 or EF9 SiR -circa £5k (which I will own in the next 3 years)

Hell yes to all of that!
I watched that How To... programme too, how cool is that Mclaren factory? Like a combo of a Bond villain lair and the Aperture Science labs from the Portal games! I never really liked the actual car when it came out but its really grown on me, so much so that this is my current PC wallpaper...
